The story was all about the protagonist’s experiences. It began with him narrating about the pencil that he received as a gift from his sibling. After which, he narrated about his experiences in receiving and being able to use ball pens.

Stainless Longganisa is a book that is humorous and profound at the same time. It can make the reader laugh to the inside jokes and side comments about his own statements. It can also make you realize the different facts that is happening (whether good or bad) in an amusing way.
And sometimes the statements given on the book is straight up pointless.
It is hard to understand the connection between the chapters of the book. However, the stories in the book focus on the importance of reading, the fulfillment of a dream and how to right properly. Bob Ong’s writing style is in a contemporary form. This style is informal; thus, it attracts the attention of many Filipino readers. One may say that his works are works for the masses.
Even a common person can clearly understand the messages of the book he writes.
In Stainless Longganisa, he talks about the other books that he wrote. Also in this book, you will know more about the writer. It shows the way he thinks and what are his likes and dislikes which makes the book more relatable to the readers. It also talks about his journey as a writer.
The pros and cons of being a writer and how ideas started from scratch.
In this book, he also gives some advice to every aspiring writer that wants to be successful one day. I like the way the book communicate with the reader with jokes and sometimes a fourth wall break of Bob Ong.
The book talks to the inner humor of the reader. It makes the reader to make fun of the book.
The book also has its “Gawaing Pansanay” which is like a list of question or task that is given to the reader. This “Gawaing Pansanay” tests your imagination and it proves that you can learn something new while have humor.
Bob Ong proves his flexibility in writing in this particular book.
The author stays on his writing style while telling his own story. You’ll never get tired of reading and learning this book because it is easy for the readers to understand while knowing the depth of knowledge the writer has. Stainless Longganisa tells is to love books and treat them as one of your most prized possession.

About the Writers and How Do they See Themselves 10 years from Now
Mojeca, James Florenz, Student – Pasig City Science Highschool
10 years from now I think I’ll have a good job (I don’t know yet) to support my family (own family if I have one by that time). I have a small business that I can manage for extra income and to insure myself that I’ll have an income when the time comes for me to retire. I also be starting to build a house for my parents because that is my promise to them. And last but definitely not the least, giving back to God for everything that he has given me. I’ll try my best to be a good example to my family.
Mores, Judge Rogine, Student – Pasig City Science Highschool
A decade from now, I see myself reading piles of books, conducting multiple studies, and working in a hospital as I am already in my med school, currently in my internship years. During period of time, I am preparing for my specialization as an Internist or an Internal Medicine Physician which would give me few more years of study. As an intern and as a scholar under the Department of Health Medical Scholarship program, I have a little source of income which I would use in my studies and save some of it in order to prepare for my other specializations and also for my Law School afterwards. I still don’t see myself married in just matter of ten years. Moreover, I would be serving not only my family, but also the people around me.
