Title: Think and Grow Rich
Author: Napoleon Hill
Books in My Baggage started 2016, by reviewing an ever classic – The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. And this 2017, we will start again with a BANG! By reviewing another best selling book of ALL Time, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
If you’ve read this classic, Congratulations! Because you are one of the luckiest people in this world. And it’s all because you have learned the ultimate secret to success, early on. Consider us a late bloomer because we just finished reading this gem and just started to live by it.
Goosebumps and endless realizations.
That’s what I’ve constantly felt as I was reading and ruminating about this book. I’ve read this book in 3 months because every time I have read something worthwhile, I have to stop and absorb what it means and even write a whole new article about it. This book was written in 1937 and has constantly been changing lives of people.
And yes, I can say that this is a life changing book. Will allow you to explore that part of your life that you often took for granted, thinking it never made an impact – such as your subconscious mind.
Think and Grow Rich is that book that you will never regret reading over and over again until your copy will be torn and have highlighted each and every part that you need to absorb. I don’t usually re read books because once I knew the ending or what it says, it bores me to death. But with this book, you will never know what new learning will you get if you grab and read it again. As I said, endless possibilities.
It will make you believe in yourself again. To dream more and be that person who really want to become.
It will awaken your inner desire to continue and move on despite all the crap that is happening in your life right now. Will also give you a different perspective about failure and would want to start building your dream again.
It ignites, fuels and enrich your inner soul to start and get up from that failure; It conditions your mind to be a fighter.
And by the way, this is not only about getting rich scheme. Although it talks about money and net worth , it was never as superficial as that. It’s about creating a valuable “you” that can help you gain that amount of money that you desire from the bottom of your heart.
If you wish to read a book that will totally turn your life around, then grabbing this book is all you need.
This book has changed many many lives. The first time i read it was in the early 80s and i got great value from it then. The essence of this book is quite clear, that thought has the power to create circumstance. This is a very powerful point in that it clarifies that in order to find more happiness, for example, you must somehow be happy to begin with. This is complicated, but it comes from the discovery that those who are satisfied and yet are reaching for more in life are uniquely in a better position to receive more than those who are not satisfied. In other words, if you begin from a point of satisfaction, you will be able to create a whole lot more satisfaction from there. If you begin from the point of dissatisfaction, then you are swimming UPSTREAM and will hit obstacle after obstacle.
